AFFILIATION - Church or Ministry

A Church may affiliate with GMCI for fellowship, accountability and credibility without applying for legal covering under 501 c 3 of the IRS code. Or a Church may affiliate with GMCI for both fellowship and tax exemption under our Group Ruling Exemption with the IRS. The IRS does not recognize a "online" church as being elgible for tax exemption. GMCI is not a credentialing agency. Those wishing to come under the tax exemption should also desire the spiritual covering and being a part of our "family" of churches. The Church Charter will come under the banner of GOSPEL ALLIANCE CHURCHES. All churches remain atonomus.

A Ministry (outreach or evangelistic) may affiliate for the same reasons as a Church. Having an evangelistic charter permits a ministry to receive contributions within the USA. The Ministry Director or Head must also hold personal credentials with GMCI.

GMCI provides both apostolic spiritual covering and tax exemption status to those churches that qualify. In addition GMCI provides a fellowship for both the seasoned minister and that one just beginning their calling in God. GMCI is a full gospel organization for independent ministers providing Ordination, General License, Commissioned Minister and Exhorter/Christian Workers License. Mentoring, prayer support, missions projects, short term mission trips, networking and opportunities for fellowship are available.
